VHPI Submits Congressional Statement on the Dangers of the ACCESS Act

Ahead of an important hearing before the House Veterans Affairs Committee, the Veterans Healthcare Policy Institute submitted a detailed analysis of a worrying new bill: the Veterans’ Assuring Critical Care Expansions to Support Servicemembers (ACCESS) Act of 2025 . Our statement notes that this legislation "puts ideology before veterans, and in so doing, will imperil their ability to access the full range of health care and services through the VHA system."  To read our detailed six-page analysis of its most worrying provisions, click here.
